The New Lelit Bianca V3 Version

The Bianca V3 is equipped with new software. The Low Flow function (reduced flow rate) allows you to further control the pre-infusion. This means that even users who do not wish to use the paddle can enjoy this aroma-enhancing, intensive pre-infusion.

LCC Display

The LCC display allows you to adjust many useful parameters:

Temperature for the espresso and steam boilers
Low Flow function: Reduced water flow adjustable at the start of extraction and the end of the brewing phase
Electronic pre-infusion: Start time and duration of pre-infusion can be adjusted
Shot timer – espresso time display
Low-water warning system: Ensures there is always enough water for the last espresso shot

The Bianca V3 version offers 4 different energy-saving modes

Always On: If the machine is to remain on at all times, both Standby and Sleep modes must be disabled.
Standby mode: The machine shuts off after 30 minutes of inactivity. It can be reactivated by pressing the brew group lever.
Sleep Mode: The espresso boiler is maintained at 70 degrees, and the steam boiler is turned off.
E-Mode: Steam boiler can be enabled or disabled by pressing the minus button for 3 seconds.

Manual Paddle

The manual paddle allows the barista to directly control the pre-infusion. Moving the paddle changes the flow rate of the incoming brew water, which in turn affects the brewing pressure.

Note on Offset Calibration – Lelit Bianca V3

We exclusively supply the Lelit Bianca V3. Offset calibration is no longer required for this version. Many online guides refer to older models (V2), for which retailers recommended manual offset adjustment. This does not apply to the V3.

Why is offset calibration not necessary for the V3?

Factory-calibrated temperature mapping: Lelit has designed the V3’s PID control so that the displayed temperature accurately reflects the actual brewing behavior at the E61 group. Manual correction (offset) is no longer required.
Optimized Sensors and Firmware: Revised temperature sensors and updated control software automatically compensate for the system-related difference between the boiler and brew group temperatures across the entire usable temperature range.
More Stable Thermal Performance: Adjustments to the thermosiphon/flow management (including V3 software functions) result in more reproducible heat transfer—the foundation for ensuring that the factory mapping works reliably.

What was different with V2?

In V2, the display primarily showed the actual boiler temperature; users compensated for the difference relative to the brew group using an offset.
The control strategy at that time occasionally required manual adjustment, depending on the beans and workflow, to achieve the target temperature at the group head.

Quick answer to help you decide

Bianca V3: unpack, heat up, select brew temperature— no offset adjustment needed. If you read about “setting the offset” in forums or guides, that refers to older models (V2).
