The Dalla Corte Studio One is the logical evolution of the Studio series. It combines the strengths of the Studio and the Studio Aqua in a single machine: the larger 2.5-liter boiler and the hot-water spout from the Aqua, combined with the Studio’s flexible water supply options. This gives you professional Dalla Corte technology in a unit that requires only 310 mm of width.

Multi-boiler technology for consistent extraction

The brew group and steam boiler operate independently of one another. The 0.5-liter brew circuit maintains a stable temperature regardless of steam usage, while the 2.5-liter boiler provides the reserves needed for milk-based beverages and hot water. Both circuits are controlled separately via PID regulation. The result is temperature consistency typically reserved for multi-group commercial machines.

Rotary Pump Instead of a Vibration Pump

The Studio One uses a rotary pump, the type typically found in commercial machines. The brewing pressure remains constant throughout the entire brewing process, and the machine runs noticeably quieter than comparable models with vibration pumps. In open-concept kitchens and offices, this makes a noticeable difference. After about 10 minutes of heating up, the machine is ready to brew.

Control via the Display

You can set the temperature and brew time directly on the clear display with German menu navigation. The minimalist user interface does away with nested menus: you can see the relevant parameters at a glance and adjust them in just a few steps. For beginners, operation remains straightforward; ambitious home baristas gain control over the settings that truly matter for the final result.

Permanent water connection or tank—switchable as standard

The Studio One comes factory-ready for both operating modes. You can start with the 2.5-liter water tank and later switch to a direct water connection without having to replace or modify the machine. This makes it flexible for home kitchens without a water connection as well as for offices, retail spaces, or small food service establishments.

Hot water spout and Cool-Touch steam wand

The separate hot water dispenser expands your beverage offerings: You can prepare Americanos, long coffee specialties, or tea without tying up the brew group. The Cool-Touch steam wand stays cool to the touch, milk residue doesn’t burn on, and cleaning is noticeably easier.

Customizable Design

Choose from eight standard colors, ranging from Stainless Steel to Moon Grey to Blaze Red. Upon request, Dalla Corte can customize the side panels with additional materials and RAL colors. This way, the machine adapts to your kitchen design—not the other way around. The Barista Light is integrated as standard and illuminates the portafilter and cup during the brew.

Questions about the Studio One

What is the difference between the Studio One and the Studio Aqua?

The Studio Aqua operates exclusively with a fixed water supply. The Studio One offers both options as standard and can be switched between a fixed water supply and a 2.5-liter tank. Both models feature a 2.5-liter boiler and a hot water outlet. At 310 mm, the Studio One is also 11 mm narrower and, at 1,970 watts, requires less power than the Aqua, which requires 2,770 watts. It also features a cool-touch steam wand.

Can I operate the Studio One without a direct water connection?

Yes. The machine comes with a 2.5-liter water tank and is fully functional in tank mode. Switching to a permanent water connection later is possible without replacing the model, as the switchover is included as standard.

What does “multiboiler” mean in the context of the Studio One?

The brewing circuit and the steam boiler are separate from each other. The brew group circuit holds 0.5 liters, and the steam boiler holds 2.5 liters. Both are controlled separately via PID regulation. As a result, steam extraction does not affect the brew temperature, making extraction reproducible across multiple brews.
