With Lelit portafilter machines with integrated grinder, there may be coffee residue in the machine or in the box when the package is opened. This is completely normal and not a sign of use.

Background: Each machine is tested in the factory with real coffee beans to ensure the quality of the grinder and extraction. This involves grinding beans that cannot be completely removed due to the large dead space in the grinder. Even if the machines are cleaned afterwards, tiny amounts of ground coffee remain.

We do not open any packaging - you will of course receive new goods in their original packaging. During shipping, residues can be loosened by vibrations and distributed in the box.

And yes - sometimes we have the feeling that the parcel services are playing a game of soccer with the parcels 😉. We understand the annoyance - no matter which shipping service provider was chosen. Wherever people work, mistakes happen - whether intentional or not (without wanting to insinuate anything).

We are in close contact with the delivery services, take every complaint seriously and naturally pass on feedback.

If your delivery is unusually dirty, let us know. Please send us photos of the packaging and the machine immediately upon receipt.

After checking, we will send you a packet of high-quality coffee beans free of charge as a small gesture of compensation.

Note: This goodwill rule only applies in the case of clear, documented residues. We ask for your understanding that a blanket credit note without proof is not possible.
