Lelit PL162T Bianca
The new Lelit Bianca V3 version
The Bianca V3 is equipped with new software. With the low flow function (reduced flow speed), the pre-infusion can also be controlled. This means that users who do not wish to use the paddle can also enjoy this more intensive pre-infusion that promotes aroma.
LCC display
Many useful parameters can be set via the LCC display:
- Temperature for the espresso and steam boiler
- Low flow function: Reduced water flow can be set at the start and end of the extraction phase
- Electronic pre-infusion: Start time and length of the pre-infusion can be set
- Shot timer - espresso time display
- Water level warning system: There is always enough water for the last espresso shot
The Bianca V3 version offers 4 different energy-saving modes
- Always On: If the machine is always to remain switched on, both stand-by and sleep mode must be deactivated.
- Stand-by mode: The machine switches off after 30 min. inactivity. The machine can then be reactivated by pressing the brew group lever.
- Sleep mode: The espresso boiler is kept at 70 degrees and the steam boiler is switched off.
- E mode: Steam boiler can be (de)activated: Press the minus button for 3 seconds.
Manual paddle
With the manual paddle, the barista can directly influence the pre-infusion. The paddle movement can be used to change the flow rate of the incoming brewing water, which can influence the brewing pressure.
Note on offset calibration - Lelit Bianca V3
We only supply the Lelit Bianca V3. Offset calibration is no longer required for this version. Many instructions on the Internet refer to older devices (V2) for which dealers have recommended manual offset adjustment. This does not apply to the V3.
Why is offset calibration not necessary with the V3?
- Factory-calibrated temperature mapping: Lelit has designed the PID control of the V3 so that the displayed temperature reflects the real brewing behavior on the E61 group. Manual correction (offset) is no longer required.
- Optimized sensors and firmware: Revised temperature sensors and updated control software automatically compensate for the system-related difference between the boiler and brew group temperature over the entire usable temperature range.
- More stable thermals: Adjustments to the thermosiphon/flow management (incl. V3 software functions) lead to more reproducible heat transfer - the basis for ensuring that the factory mapping fits reliably.
What was different with V2?
- With V2, the display primarily showed the actual boiler value; users compensated for the difference to the brew group using an offset.
- Depending on the bean/workflow, the control strategy at the time occasionally required manual adjustment to achieve the target temperature at the group.
Short answer for your purchase decision
Bianca V3: unpack, heat up, select brewing temperature - without offset setting. If you read "adjust offset" in forums/guides, this applies to older batches (V2).

Frequently Asked Questions
I bought a new coffee grinder from Naturbohne and there are coffee residues in it.
Please note: Some manufacturers test their coffee grinders before shipping, which means that small coffee residues or bean residues can occasionally be found in the grinder. This procedure is used to test functionality and is considered a quality feature. Of course, we only sell new products - unless expressly stated otherwise.
Static charge – coffee grounds spray out from the side
With some coffee grinders, the ground coffee can become statically charged and spray out of the portafilter at the side. This means that not all of the ground coffee gets into the portafilter, which can lead to uneven extraction. Our recommendation: Use a dosing funnel to ensure that all of the ground coffee is precisely fed into the portafilter - for optimal espresso enjoyment.
What is dead space in coffee grinders?
Conventional coffee grinders often leave a so-called dead space in which coffee residues accumulate. These residues can not only affect the freshness, but also lead to old and fresh coffee grounds being mixed, which negatively affects the taste. In contrast, single dose grinders have a well-thought-out design that eliminates the dead space. Each portion is ground individually and precisely so that no residues are left behind - for a consistently pure and full-bodied coffee experience.
Which portafilter fits my espresso machine?
When choosing the right portafilter for your portafilter machine, it is important to know that each manufacturer develops its own brewing group - the most well-known is the Faema E61. However, this does not mean that any portafilter will fit without any problems. An incompatible portafilter can leak, which will have a direct negative impact on the quality of your espresso. We therefore recommend using either the portafilter originally supplied or one that is explicitly stated to be compatible with your machine. This will ensure that the pressure is optimally built up and the espresso is perfectly extracted.
Can I visit you or pick up the goods personally?
Yes, of course, you are welcome to come by and look at our products by appointment. We would be happy to advise you personally. The best thing to do is to send us an email with a few suggested appointment times.

Important note, first use coffee grinders
Another little tip for the perfect start with your new mill:
You will get the best grinding result after you have ground about 1-2 kg of beans. It is best to use a few cheap beans so that the grinder can work optimally. And if you are wondering what you can do with the bean flour - it is perfect plant fertilizer! 🌿
It contains nitrogen, potassium, sulfur and phosphorus and is a real nutrient bomb for your plants.
- Dipendenza dalle condizioni ambientali.
